Natural Golden Sheen: Kosa silk yarns have a muted, honey-golden or pale gold‐brown tint from the cocoon (from silkworms feeding on Arjun, Sal, Saja trees) that gives the fabric its signature glow.
Texture & Feel: The fabric is slightly coarse and grainy compared to mulberry silk, giving it rustic depth. It has uneven slubs (irregularities) which are prized as a mark of its authenticity.
